I've only used it a few times.. It went on well, built up well and stayed on. Not sure it separates lashes, you'd probably want a eyelash comb 1st for that but I'm lazy. I washed my face then pulled at my lashes with fingers wet in very warm water. Then rinse. You don't need lots of water. I went to bed after washing my face (cool water) but forget to remove the tubes, and didn't notice. Then I just tugged them off a bit with dry fingers and it was all good. I'd buy again. Please make very dark colours other than brown, I've black lashes but dark colour like purple would be nice
